pedra bonita

this morning we hiked with friends to the top of pedra bonita - one of the granite stones jutting out of rio's landscape. we scrambled up along the jungle path to take in the amazing view. to the east, in this direction, we could see christ the redeemer, the lagoon, the two brothers rocks, and far beyond. to the west - the full stretch of barra, it's lagoons, and the olympic village.
