museo do indio

today we went to the fantastic museo do indio, which gives an introduction to the life of brazil's indigenous peoples. I was so impressed with this little museum, which featured tribal structures (built by the corresponding indigenous group), intricate bead work and handicrafts, and an outstanding portrait photography exhibition.

other highlights today: climbing trees, saturday morning pancakes, catching up with friends a few continents away, iced coffee in the botanical gardens, mince pies in 32 degree heat at the british school christmas fair.
