Fire Spinning

Just another Saturday evening in D.C. :)

This was part of an annual event called 'Artomatic', where a vacant building is invested by a bunch of artists, for non-juried exhibits throughout all floors of the building, as well as performances of all kinds. Tonite featured fire spinners (one more in the extras). Fun to photograph -- challenging too.

There were lots of photographers among the exhibiters. A handful of them featured excellent work; as for the rest... bah: some blippers are much better! ;)  Perhaps I'll try it next year
