Green Fingers

We made real progress up at the allotment today; we very nearly have two finished beds- so tantalisingly close to finishing the one by the shed. We put in some real graft today, and can't wait for some regular frosts to hopefully kill off the remaining weeds. We still have to make a start on the middle bed, and make some sharper edges to neaten it all up.
The wind and rain finally drove us over to my Mum's where we got stuck in to clearing berries and leaves off her roof despite the crazy wind, then allowed ourselves a lovely lazy afternoon tucking in to her shepherd's pie and watching the final Grand Prix of the season.
