They are also know as a Peruvian lily or lily of the Incas and were one of my mother's favourite flowers.

Today was so windy and wet that I stayed indoors the entire day. The good news is that my left foot feels considerably better now that it has had a good rest. Unfortunately, other parts of me are not feeling as well at the moment as I've had to sneeze and cough several times this evening. Therefore, I apologise for not commenting on other journals but after I've posted my entry for today, I'm heading straight for bed.
