St Andrew's Day

A beautiful early winter's day here in the NE of Scotland.
Frosty but bright blue skies.
I had a busy day visiting people, meeting for coffee and checking round the caravan park.
I also managed to take the dogs down to Strichen Lake for a walk and as you can see, it was partially frozen.
It was rather amusing to see the gulls coming down to land and skidding a bit on the ice.
This being the Patron Saint of Scotland's day, it seems like a good reason to link a favourite track of mine by probably my very favourite Scottish band. And it seems just right for a day like today.
This is well worth a listen.
