Felis silvestris

We spent most of the day at the Highland Wildlife Park, occasionally sheltering from sporadic but heavy rain showers. There weren't many folk there so the animals were less shy than usual. The snow leopards are just gorgeous but I also much enjoyed watching the wolverines galumphing about, like a couple of badgers on steroids.

Two of this years Scottish wildcat litter were sitting in one of the overhead runways, listening intently to the talk about them being given by one of the keepers. They're on the verge of extinction , apparently.

Before it got dark we set off south-west towards Loch Tay, and got to Firbush around 6 pm.
