Visiting Lake Hood....

This afternoon I took Elsa to Lake Hood which is just south of Ashburton.?It opened in 2001 and is 2.3km long by 1 km wide.Lake Hood is a man made lake and has an 8 lane rowing course and a separate water area that can be used for jet-skiing.
It has been well landscaped with nice walkways. It is a rather upmarket place to live with lakeside homes.
Elsa learnt what thin ice was.....she walked on it and got very wet. Didn't seem to slow her down!!!!!
