Drip

I took the dogs round Pocket Park this morning. There's been a lot of work going on in there recently with lots of trees cut back and new paths created. A lot of the park was underwater today and about halfway round our circular route we came across a deep stretch of water with no way round. Undeterred and unwilling to go back on myself, I picked up Bertie and started wading through. Unfortunately, it was deeper than I first thought, the water went over the top of my wellies and I ended up with wet feet.
A bit if housework and ironing kept me busy for the rest of the day. Thank goodness I'm working tomorrow!
