Advent excitement

The 1st December has taken on a fizz of excitement on our house with Squidge getting giddy about Xmas. She opened the first drawer on her advent calendar this morning and was excited to find a new Shopkins toy (I have rationed the chocolate to every 3 days!)

She's in a lovely mood and seems much more content now that I'm home a bit more and we're spending some much needed time together. Last night before she went to bed she told me she was going to dream about me and her on "one of our adventures" which made me actually cry when I shut the door!

I was meant to be in town today and tomorrow but wriggled out of it, rushing home for a family tea tonight after a meeting with my accountant in Wilmslow (he lives in Handforth which is handy!) instead.

And tomorrow we have a girls night together as Angus is out for a curry with some new work friends. We're going to decorate our second tree together, can't wait!
