"You've not put your Christmas decorations up yet"
"You've not put your Christmas decorations up yet" said the nice man who came to adjust the stair lift for us today. I wasn't sure if this was a statement (and a criticism) or a question.
I was tempted to say "It's only December 1st" and of course that would be much too early in this house. I do well to have the place decorated in time for Christmas.
When he came upstairs I think he was relieved to see three little sprigs of cotoneaster that were waiting to be blipped. I didn't explain!
We went to Hexham this morning for an appointment to keep Mum's feet beautiful. Her friend, Margaret, from down the village not Margret from next door, came for a cup of tea and a chat this afternoon.
I managed to print 4 images for the club competition because the entry date was today. The printer was producting stripes. Grrr. I did manage to sort it out.
Our photo club tonight had a brilliant presentation by Leo Palmer, who has a string of photographic qualifications after his name. I've seen some of the images before but many were new. Breathtaking.
Finally to Lesley and Steve's house for a quick run through of our version of Cinderella which will perform tomorrow at the walkers' Christmas party.
