Start of a very busy week!

Back blip #1

It is finally the weekend, and everything went like clockwork to get into the taxi (Careem - we got a free ride and upgrade) at 5:15 to get to the airport with 7 pieces of luggage to check in! First time EVER with that many - all very light; in fact, we were spot on with the baggage allowance of 60kg!

All went smoothly with the flight; we did a very unusual route - flying over the Sinai Peninsula and up the Nile; in fact, the plane went all the way out to Paphos to come back to Larnaca! NICE when you have a window seat and it is day time and G had a camera to hand.

Made it to a 3pm meeting for what should have been snagging but not quite. Anyway, there was a mad moment when G said about going to IKEA to start the shop for furniture but common sense prevailed and we went for dinner instead to Larnaca Promenade. Always a nice place to be, but it is cold and neither of us had the right fleece.

Went out like a light when I finally got into bed - at 10pm I think. Early for me but my body clock is 2 hours ahead and I only had 4 hours of sleep last night.

PS. The tall building you see in the distance on the left is the one I blipped yesterday.
