Another Proud Parents Day

This is what we travelled to Honington for, the presentation of Julias' AOC (Air Officer Commanding) commendation.
Making the presentations was the High Sheriff of Suffolk who gave a short speech at the end about how the community benefits from the multiple military bases in the area and how they make them feel safe.
Honington is home to the RAF Regiment, affectionately known as 'Rock Apes' after the apes that guard the rock of Gibraltar, the Force Protection team (1 TPS (Tactical Police Squadron)) that Julia belongs to, and many other associated units.

It was a very proud day for us and we met some splendid people up to, and including, 2 Group Captains!

Well done Julia, you make us so proud every day even when we don't know what you are doing or where you are!
