'Chinook'

miserable again so took myself off to one of the local garden centres that also has a bird of prey centre. some beautiful birds, out in the open on perches, but this was my favourite - a great grey owl called Chinook - such a pity he was inside an enclosure. I have never seen such an expressive face on a bird, you could swear he understood every word you said!! he- or she - looks a bit coy in this one!
