treat yourself, it's only 50p

this little vase sits on my bathroom shelf in what I like to think is an artistic arrangement of some of my art deco bits and bobs. It always reminds me of daughter no 1, who I will see in London this weekend, so I decided last night that if it was raining again today - it is - I would try and do a 'studio shot', so have had fun with different backgrounds and settings but decided simple was best.

around 26 or 27 years ago my two girls and I went to a sale with a bric- a- brac table. this little vase caught my eye but in those days money was tight and I hesitated to buy such a frivolous wee thing, until Katie, who was about 6 or 7 at the time said 'go on mum, treat yourself, it's only 50p'. so it did.
