Wild grass

Was really quite tired after yesterday's day out and slept like a log last night. All that fresh air that I'm not used to....

Up early for a sunday, walked the dog and then went for a swim. Really quite pleased after swimming a mile in 38 minutes. First time I've done that for quite a few years. Took it's toll this afternoon though... needed a thirty minute siesta after lunch.

I picked these grasses up while out with the dog and tried to get something from them. After some playing around I opted for the slide viewer to create a white backgound, macro lens and flashgun set at 1/128th power and did a 4 image focus stack (after seeing John Gravett's grass one yesterday). It was nice, but I still needed more, so off to SFx Pro and turned to mono with a slight tint. The original was all three in full, but I decided for a crop of just one where you can see them all.

Not sure how its going to look, but t's kept me quite for an hour.....
