A Wonderful Package Arrives From a Faraway Land!

It has been a very exciting week all around. First there was the birthday on Wednesday, smack dab in the middle of the week. I was very well celebrated and I think birthdays are a fine thing. In fact, I think everyone ought to have one! Or maybe even MORE than one!

Then on Thursday, there was another exciting development: a mysterious package arrived in the mail from the faraway land of INDIA! We looked at the package and we listened closely. What was that sound? We thought we might hear tiny voices inside!

And so we took the package into the upstairs bathroom at home - where the light is good, and so it is where we photograph many of our indoor blips - and we opened the package carefully. And most wonderful of all, look what we found inside: NEW FRIENDS!

Daisy the hedgehog, one of the newer members of our tribe, said she knew how it felt to be the new creature on the block. So she wanted to be the first to step forward and welcome the new critters warmly.

Hello, new friends! Welcome, welcome! Make yourselves at home! Such grand adventures we shall have together! Oh yes, indeed!
