Waiting For Crumbs !

This pigeon was pecking at the flowers but when somebody sat on the wall with their lunchbag, the flowers were abandoned and it waited patiently for any dropped crumbs.
Pigeons are incredibly complex and intelligent but some facts I didn't know were that they can recognise themselves in a mirror, distinguish different humans within a photograph and can recognise  each letter of the human alphabet. They follow along roads and motorways even changing direction at junctions. Also they are really clean birds!
