Curdworth Locks

Blue skies and no rain had us heading for the canal towpaths today to enjoy a walk that passed by a bird sanctuary.  I love the ingenuity that allowed the canals to ascend and descend the undulating landscape they traversed and still have memories of opening and closing over 100 lock gates on a past canal boat holiday - just had to capture this picture - I had a lot of photos today but loved the shadows and reflections, and you can just see Mike and Zion in the right corner!  I added an extra to give a little credit to the bird sanctuary.
