Nearly had you fooled!
Not the place but the name of the dessert I made for lunch.
Mini baked Alaskas with boozy cherry centres.
( and some extra cherries on the side)
Pleased to say that they turned out a success.
Fortunately the ice cream in the centre didn't melt before the meringue on the outside browned in the very hot oven.
Wouldn't exactly call them "mini"! Will try and make them smaller next time.
Got the thumbs up from our friends, and MrC.
It was a perfect finish after the Lancashire hotpot, with spicy cabbage.

Now very glad we have a dishwasher !
