In the bleak midwinter.

Just thawing out after the turn on of our village Christmas lights. A log fire and glass of red wine helps!
A lovely afternoon meeting up with old friends and neighbours. Drinking mulled wine to keep warm, and a tasting of chicken curry.
Entertainment by the local school choir, dancing school, and Drighlington junior brass band, helped to make this a very enjoyable afternoon.
