Goodbye Peter

For quite a few years I have been going out and about with a small group of friends to take photos - we call them our Adventures. We're a close little band and have had some lovely days out.

A couple of years ago Danny, one of our number suddenly died aged only 53 years. He was a real character as well as a wonderful photographer and he brought a lot of fun to our trips.

Now Peter has left us unexpectedly aged 59. He was a lovely man -  a real gentleman. His funeral was this afternoon and was well attended. We put together a slide show of our photos of Peter and some that he had taken, they went down very well and were a good talking point. We will miss him very much but have good memories of our times with him.

The blip is the order of service plus a photo that I took of Peter on one of our "Adventures" when he bought himself a new hat.
