A delightful synchronicity yesterday. Walking to the Cathedral I discovered my Master stone Mason pals from St Clements were gathering for their annual parade through the city.
St Clements runs an apprenticeship for young people to ensure this ancient skill is maintain. You have seen this wonderful young woman on the left before at her work, but I must have deleted her ( can't find her on Blip ). Though a good exercise trawling back to remind myself of all the good photo's I've taken. How do you preserve yours folks please ??
The elegant older woman on the right is a PH D Medievalist, specialising in Architecture.
Entirely appropriately The Cathedral Canon had formally approved the march starting from the Cathedral South door. I hoped he might appear , but didn't.
