The Comfort Of Strangers

hereOne of the advantages of ageing : strangers are happy to have me photograph them. Though could also be increasing narcissism . whatever this couple were happy to chat to me in the Cathedral at the World-Peace -Globe and talk to me how they lit candles every December for their families. Folk were starting to gather for the Carol Service, I've tried to enjoy it for years, but always come away disappointed and angered by the ' priests in their gowns' ( Blake See his poem 'the garden of love' at here) The warm exchange with this couple seemed to me more meaningful. I happily came home to make myself a warm favourite lunch : Spanish omelette with lots of garlic & a little chilli.
En route I called at Phillip-the Camera , a very eccentric 2nd hand camera shop, that Mr Photography Mark put me onto. I bought a light tri-pod to aid my curiosity with low light shots. Phil told me he'd bought himself the Fuji XPro 1 , I guess I'd better take a look!.
Glorious sunshine here for a brief while. Looks more like snow now!. Happy W/E dear Blippers
