Blowing in the wind

The lights on the tree were switched on this evening for the first time, but it remains to be seen how long the tree will stay upright - it was swaying ominously in the strong, gusty wind as we went past early this evening.

Wasted more time on replying to yet another email from Scottish Power (no, I'm still not willing to pay for the gas and electricity used by someone else before we moved to the flat!), before the lights went out!

It was only a couple of hours before the electricity came back on, and in the meantime we amused ourselves playing Scrabble by candlelight. Must do it again - but preferably with the lights on!
