The river runs deep

What a day! Lashing rain and high winds. As predicted correctly by the weather people, it was relentless and contributed to local flooding. Had the car towed to a local garage (thank God we are members of AA) and Mrs P back from hospital. Son number two back for a flying visit and my sister-in-law is staying with us to look after little sis.
