Snow Geese

Hearing rumours of attempts being made to get an "appointment" at a local slaughterhouse, I suspect they are having thoughts of following their North American cousins and setting off for a flight southwards.


Angie thought they deserved a few hours roaming in the garden. Geese are incredibly curious and love being "where the action is". i remember our two geese (Charles and Diana) back in 1995 constantly getting in to trouble for sticking their beaks in things that didn't concern them - such as full paint pots!

By midday the snow was gone and they were behind bars again (+1000 sqm). Angie set off to Munich to visit Sultan at the horse clinic after his operation on Thursday. He was not himself - not interested in food or anything else. Whether still "under the influence" or in pain particularly as the opportunity of his sedation was taken to do some dental cosmetic work? He has to stay for another 10 days or so until the stitches afre removed and healed. So she left with mixed feelings, pleased the op had gone so well but naturally feeling for him.
