1st Advent Sunday

Time to get Angie spruced up for her 4 weeks of sitting on top of the Christmas tree. I also got my hair brought under control in time for the festivities.

Hanging on the window a Christmas decoration daughter Kate handmade & painted and delivered back on her August visit, wrapped in an envelope with the words "Open when you put up the Christmas decorations" which is what Angie did today. The sign ought to be over the front door but as Angie said, nobody important uses the front door - not a single cat/dog/chicken or goose. They and all our friends automatically use the back door. However the backdoor is also the windy corner so hanging it there would mean it would soon end up as a wonderful chewy toy for Luna..So the sitting room it will be - thanks Kate its lovely and unique ... well until such time as your brother remains single!
