Between Two Stools!

Last year we thoroughly enjoyed the unique St Moritz night time city ski race, which was open and free of charge.. The event consisted of relay teams of downhill and cross-country skiers competing fiercly through the city streets; the racers varied from professional ski racers to enthusiastic amateurs and there were food stalls and a band playing on stage in the background; the whole event was hugely enjoyable. So this year we eagerly anticipated more of the same. Sadly it was not to be; the ski race had been downgraded and there were not as many competitors, in its place was a more prestigious band and a wopping 75CHF entry charge; it seemed to me that the organisers were not sure whether they were organising a ski race or a rock concert to the detriment of both! I know I sound like a grumpy, old man but!!1
