Cosmic Encounter

A bit of an experimental evening. I cooked a curry for Lin and Pamela, and two of their friends, which caused no casualties and was apparently much appreciated.

We followed it with a couple of games of COSMIC ENCOUNTER, a board game from the 1970s-1980s, that I much enjoyed when I was much younger.

It's simple to play but allows for much fun in choice of tactics, alliances, etc (as more than one player can win). Again, the ladies were amazingly appreciative.

It was an evening the regaling of which they probably dined out on for months to come...
