Extreme Offroading
After the sadness of last night today was always going to be difficult. It felt really odd to be out with just Finlay and no Katie trolling around with us.
On our walk we encountered this rather scary scene - a giant artic being hauled back on the road after a major departure from the carriageway.
In the extra shot I have drawn arrows to show where it came off and came to rest. The little piece of tarmac is in fact the footpath and bridleway - which does make you think about using it again. A little wooden fence is all that stands between you and oblivion.
The chap in the hi-vis is the driver - I did speak to him and he said he was ok. I asked if the wind had caught him and he said no, he had sneezed and lost control.
A cheeky entry for Derelict Sunday perhaps
