Foggy Mono

Many thanks for all your kind thoughts after the loss of our Katie. It is still quite raw, just the suddenness of it all. Finlay seems more like himself today, he's also quite keen to have his ears rubbed! I may have missed a few journal entries from the  last couple of days as I have tried to catch up with comments etc.

We went for our walk this morning - it was quite foggy but the sun kept trying to poke through the mist - producing a weird soft light.

I liked this view over the fields towards Clifford - the varying line of trees and buildings accentuated against the greyness of the mist. Also the gradual recession of layers. Converting to mono seems to help accentuate the tones.
