Machu Picchu

We've just gotten back from an incredible 5 day Inca Jungle hike culminating with us arriving at Machu Picchu which was absolutely breathtaking!!

We had a great group for the few days, consisting of; Ronnie, Ali and Flor from Argentina, Bridget from Australia and Emer from Ireland, as well as our guide Edgar. Over the five days we hiked, went white water rafting and zip lined across the peaks of some of the surrounding mountains.

The photos don't do it justice as Machu Picchu is a spectacular sight to behold and rightfully has the title of one of the wonders of the world. The two of us also climbed Machu Picchu mountain which gives perspective on just how incredible a find the city of Machu Picchu was in an area of vast mountainous terrain.
