A nice sunny day with strong shadows this morning. Spoke to my brother in Arnside. Most houses there are on the slope and the water runs down but my niece had trouble getting her children home from school in Dallam. They went on the bus but she had to get them home, using a lot of back roads. So sorry for all those folks further north with flooded homes. Maybe today is the first of some dry days.
