Lying in the grass

Actually, there are very many gingko leaves lying in the grass at the foot of the tree, but this outlier made a nice  picture.

A cold north wind and we may get some snow tomorrow but it won't be much at all, I think. But it is getting colder. Thursday, when Ian and Rhonda are moving, is supposed to have a high of 23 ºF. But it will be dry.
I know I often sound more confident about weather forecasts than anyone can ever be in the UK, but when you are dealing with big land masses it is generally easier to see broad weather patterns.
