December afternoon

Took this interesting sky from the back bedroom at 3.30 pm.

The morning was very damp and murky as we set off in the dark to walk around lower Wilsden. The only brightness as we walked though the woods across Wilsden Beck was coming from the Christmas lights on the garden centre.

I tried a shot but it really was too dark.

Surprisingly the sun came out around lunchtime and it felt like spring. So mild and birds singing away. I noticed some bulbs emerging and three roses still coming into bloom on the Grace rose.

Sadly lots of winter still to come and maybe even some more Autumn rain this week! Think we've had enough of that!
