No Partridge, No Pear Tree , But Pigeons !

I wanted some colour in my blip today and the supermarket obliged with a selection of plants , displayed on the pavement Later at Bahnhof Zoo I saw these pigeons all lined  on the roof . Waiting for Christmas or keeping warm ? We like 'Calling Birds' , 'Turtle Doves' and 'Partridge' but scorn the Pigeon. It's the outcast of the bird world .This Christmas many humans will be like these birds only lack the warmth they give to each other in their numbers .Back to Manchester this week I hope I see a gentleman who loves pigeons .Feeds them each day on very good food .He lives in a hostel and is  a great person .We discuss much as he feeds his pigeons and I the geese .
