Poinsettias

I went out to buy a wreath for the front door and came home instead with a baby poinsettia. At one garden centre the wreaths were very over decorated and horribly expensive and at the other they were only offering basic wreaths for home decoration. I think I may go back and get one of those, it is quite good fun making my own wreath. Meanwhile the little poinsettia looks very cheery on the hall table.
Tonight is the last rehearsal of Normous' choir before Christmas so they are having a bit of a party. Guests have been invited to join them as they sing some Christmas music and then tuck into wine and snacks. I'm looking forward to a happy evening to get the Christmas season under way.
