Sunset over the River Kent

A day with virtually no rain is what Kendal needed to help the recovery. Wonderful to see the River Kent looking its more normal placid self. Lots of obvious debris around and burst manholes. 

On my blog I have put information about the Cumbria Flood Fund if people want to assist those who have lost homes, livelihoods and property. There are also photos taken by a local drone owner showing the extent of the damage in Kendal.
