The Heron and the Lion

Normally you wouldn't see this odd combination of a heron safely sitting on the back of a lion in the low setting sunlight, but at the old entrance of Blijdorp Zoo in Rotterdam it's reality :-)

Come on, don't be afraid… just click on enlarge… the lion won't bite you!
