'Lichtjesavond'

Tonight is 'Lichtjesavond'* in the City of Delft and will be visited by thousands of people to see the Christmas tree illuminated.

I was early to shoot it at sunset - 16:20h as you can see on the clock - far before everybody would arrive due to the rain. 

Luckily it became dry later on and then the town square was overloaded with spectators. 

(*Lichtjesavond translates into evening of lights)
