So long, farewell

My final board meeting (and AGM) tonight before standing down as vice chair of a local charity. It's been a really great five years, often exhausting, but so satisfying when I look back on all the performances and educational events we've put on. The real hard work was done by the full time Exec, Fantastic Sam, who lifted us from the moribund to the motivated and is taking everything forward into the future. So glad to say goodbye with things in good shape. They bought me a bottle of designer gin from the Silent Pool Distillery a few miles from here, knowing me to be a man who likes the good things in life,  which I have to say looks fab.
