Everyday I Write The Book

Cat's ear view

Dylan doesn't want to let me get up this evening. So I blipped his distinctive ears (that is, the left one with a notch bitten out of it in some fight) and his view of the world. Well, TSM and the Christmas tree.

I took Mrs E to work and (although unplanned) bought her home again. We talked of many things, but mainly the Ford Anglia, the human condition and Neuro Linguistic Programming. She claimed that her grandfather buried a Ford Anglia in his back garden, which struck me as having the makings of a detective murder mystery featuring hard-hitting streetwise traffic wardens who specialise in cold cases where cars have been the victims of assassinations but the body never discovered.

I found a website that claimed that the Austin Allegro was the worst car ever made, but I think you can make a case for its cousin the Maxi. I owned one of the cars on the list of ten worst - a Fiat Polski. The steering was so slack that even after a quarter turn the front wheels stayed in the same place. Amazing I ever turned a corner really. Talking of which -

Had a lot of meetings today. These were positive but the end result was not so good for my health. Very pleased to be working at home tomorrow - have a stack of work to do. The thing about turning the corner is there is inevitably another one up the street. Life isn't a straight road, and other feeble metaphors. TSM struggled today as well. I think we both have a virus. I always think I have a virus when I can't explain what is wrong with me.

7.45 and I am ready for bed ...
