...standing tall

on a gray, overcast day

albeit a fairly tame day - all things considered - the temperatures mild for a december day - but the tree stood regardless of it - a beacon of hope, strength, steadfastness - in these very trying times we are living in - needless to say, i adore trees - all kinds of trees - be they tall, short, full, scrawny - full of color or just a single color - it really doesn't matter - i love trees and all they represent - everything they do for our planet - how they contribute to our everyday

i believe the tree is one of the coolest - things god designed for us humans, ever! - we should be grateful for it - for all it has and will continue to - do for us as time passes on

whether you photograph them in color - or b&w they are magnificent - this one is actually done in color - even though it may appear mono - and is straight out of the camera other than a - very slight cropping - i liked how the sun couldn't quite decide - if it wanted to come out - from behind the cloud - for the record, it never did - i hope you allow the majesty of trees - to play a part in your life - that you appreciate the tree in some small way - recognizing it can make your day...
