Adventure : a day in London to see my dear pal Birgit and us to enjoy a treat of seeing AI WEIWEI at the Royal Academy
We gave ourselves lots of time, didn't try to do anything other than meet, hop on the 23 to Piccadilly, have a stonkingly strengthening ( expensive ) sandwich in the Academy cafe, then go for the exhibition. PHEW!.
We were both knocked out by " Straight " a monumental memorial to the 5,00,00 young people who died in an Earthquake. Their schools collapsed as a result of corruption, bad construction.
Their 500,00 name were listed on the walls.
The Party tried to stop showing and took AI into 80 days detention after the work was shown.
