Who listening to the wonderful Diana Athill's latest essays on book-of-the-week.?. She's talking today of the rare nursing home she now lives in created by a victorian woman Margaret Fielding,who set up a charity to provide good housing for old working woman. She say's something like : 'how wonderful to have the support to do the things you are still able to do '. I guess, we all hope for that.
