Perspective
No judgement.
So this is me...Well if you flip your computer upside down that's closer to what I actually look like. My hair is normally a lot closer to my shoulders and back. But you get the basic idea.
Some people say that the world is a bit upside down. So I decided to see if they were right. I'm not going to lie, it looks quite strange from that angle. I like living in an upside down world if this is what right-side up looks like. For one, I don't have nearly the correct amount of arm strength to support my body with this gravity thing. My legs are way more suited for that. And for another thing, living upside down would be as difficult as switching dominant hands. Ever try to write lefty if you're a righty? It sucks! you literally feel like there is something wrong with you. Simple tasks require thorough concentration and, if you're me, a lot of tongue biting and weird faces.
But until the futon comes to Marist, I am taking full advantage of the fact that there is absolutely nothing under my bed and I am working out at the same time. Why not, right? I still have an inner child I like to entertain. If not, then I would just be wayy too boring for my own good.
Some people say that I haven't fully matured because of the fact that I stopped eating meat at such a young age. Sounds like a load of crap if you ask me. It's not the fault of my vegetarianism that I still ask like a 12-year-old. The same person taht told me that also said that's why I look so young. it's a cool little theory, but I like the theory of having good genes a lot better.
If I still looked like I did when I was 12, well, let's just say I would have broken the camera because of my hideousness. Growing up, I was never the prettiest flower in the bed. I was the weed you pulled.
Time has changed a lot about me. New experiences and new perspectives have given me the sense of life that I have now. Trust me, when I was 12, I would not have hung from the bottom of my bed. I would have sat quietly in the corner. With just a little bit of change and a lot of time, everything looks different. And that, ladies and gentlemen, is what helps a person grow.
