Rooms with a view

This is the view from the kitchen - I know, it is quite heavenly and one of the reasons we moved here. Our previous chalet apartment was in the village and after a while they built a new ones directly in front of us and partly, but most annoyingly, blocked our view. We decided to move higher up, overlooking the village - on the plus side we have uninterrupted views but on the down side it is quite an uphill walk to get here (and we like walking when we are here, and try not to use the car much).

More unpacking and sorting today, and the only time I went outside was to go to the supermarket to stock up on some cupboard groceries. Unbelievably, the forecast for tomorrow is snow all day. I am always amazed at how quickly the weather can change here in the mountains. 

We have mostly finished unpacking now, and tomorrow we plan to go down the valley to a larger town called Sargans to buy some of those little things you always find you need when you move.

We are coming back here with all the family for Christmas, arriving on the 21st, so today we bought a little Christmas tree and we are now about to decorate it.

Oh and we did find the phone charger...and Gavin had a few calls but was not too bad today.
