Festive Reindeer

I was due to meet some ex-neighbours for lunch today but one was sick so we have postponed it until January.
No2 son then rang to say he was going to garden centre for a meeting and did I want to go along for the ride.
I spent a pleasant time looking at all the Christmas displays and nearly bought a couple of gadgets, but common sense took over!
Had a nice cup of tea and tried on a glittery dress - but couldn't think of an occasion when I could wear it.  What happened to the days when garden centres just sold plants and gardening tools?
