Too close for comfort

Whilst our estate was lucky over the weekend things looked hairy on Wednesday as our temporary lake was still rising...

This was house over the road at 9 am. We kept calling various agencies but they just looked at it... A local builder tried pumping it but it still rose... We were brought a few sandbags which I helped put out.

Finally at 3 the environment agency came with a proper pump and it's been going all night...
